Diet and nutrition

The word dietetics is commonly associated with the treatment of obesity and other dietary restrictions. However, introducing changes in our nutrition habits can significantly aid, prevent or even become the definitive solution to certain alterations in our organism.

Poor nutrition habits do not only result in digestive system complications (e.g. constipation, diarrhoea, flatulences, gastric acidity, abdominal pain, etc), they can affect our body in many ways. Poor nutrition can even be a major cause to the development of serious illnesses. A good nutrition is key to the correct functioning of our organism.

Anyone can benefit from an adequate diet that meets ones needs and that is why nutrition is essential in our set of therapeutic tools.
